Having a swimming pool in your backyard opens up another world of possibilities. Everyone loves to swim in a swimming pool and will probably have many ideas of what to do for a good time. Some popular things people do are dive for rings, play pool volleyball, and play Marco Polo. It does not matter whether you have an in-ground or above ground pool, there are still many fun games for you to play.
Tip Scale the water feature to the size of your backyard. If you have a small backyard an Olympic sized pool probably would not work, just as if you have a large backyard choose something a little larger than those tabletop fountains.
I am a backyard landscape do it yourself hobbyist. As a matter of fact, one of the reasons that I first bought a house was because I wanted to be able to play with backyard landscape design. I have had so many backyard landscaping ideas since I was very small, but I have never gone on to do any of them. You see, when I was a kid I used to love to imagine what my dream house would be like. Of course back then, my backyard landscape ideas were not that well developed. Basically, most of my backyard landscape designs were pretty over the top. I wanted to have a giant backyard fountain that you could swim in, a backyard basketball court - you get the idea. When I was a kid, my backyard landscape design scheme centered around making the biggest, best playground that a child had ever had.
Tire fire pit - one of the best materials and probably the most inexpensive once around that you could use to make them are tractor tires. You could virtually get one from any junkyard and always remember not to steal it so that you would avoid trouble from cops. Now, how would you use a tractor tire to make the fire pit? First you must find a surface in your backyard that is flat and even. Place the tractor tire in the spot that you found. Before moving on, make sure that it is pretty much far away from any materials that are easily flammable. Things like fuel, wood and paper and other stuff that are flammable should be out of sight. Also, keep it away from your house. If you happen to have concrete surface in your backyard, that would be perfect. Lay down the tire, surround it with bricks or stones and fill it with fire.
